The 3-tab asphalt shingle is designed for a classical look for homeowners who demand outstanding performance and traditional appeal. When viewed on a roof, 3-tab shingles have a distinguishable, repetitive pattern. This type of roof style offers affordable and basic protection.

Architectural roofing shingles

can give a three-dimensional look to the roof. These shingles are very popular because of their durability and beauty. These high-end shingles are heavier than other types of roof shingles and come in various colors, patterns and textures.

CertainTeed’s Landmark Solaris® shingle is one type of a dimensional roof shingle available. It is energy efficient, and gives you the beauty of traditional shingles. The shingles are made of asphalt, but contain special granules that can reflect the sun, keeping roofs cooler by up to 20 percent.

For houses with steep roofs, consider a slate look to lend a distinctive and elegant look to your home. Some styles even look like they were made by hand! Composite slate roofs also offer the strength and durability to last.

Shake roofs
